OUR HISTORY

Galard’s origins date back to 1960 in the city of Arequipa, Peru. From the beginning, the primary objective was to create elegant, tailored suits, eliminating gathers, especially in the lapels, sleeves, and shoulders. Over the years, it became clear that the pattern layout and cutting of the fabric were also crucial. Therefore, in 1978, in the city of Cusco, Galard developed the concept of the “Anatometer,” a system designed to record more detailed measurements, beyond traditional ones, of the various contours of each person’s body. This allowed for the refinement of the garment’s In 2001, the company began studying the mathematical basis for computerized pattern making of jackets, t rousers, and other garments. Today, Galard’s two generations of experience represent our greatest asset in making you the most elegant man at your gatherings.
